Anyone here picked up the new album yet? If any of the songs on this album are going to be in the new Transformers movie, I would think "Robot Boy" (appropriately named) would be more likely than their first single "Catalyst"

Thoughts?

Album was terrible. I love industrial music... and the things this album does to it are unforgivable. Nothing of value, nothing worth purchase. I'm glad to have my zunepass today.

Kind of harsh. I'm fairly sure the album is not intended to be industrial. Sure, there are a few songs with some industrial influence, but to say the whole album butchers industrial music is slightly narrow-minded.

I like the album. It's different but it still sounds like Linkin Park.

yeah the old linkin park was great. also before they were even called "linkin park" they were called "hybrid theory" and those songs rocked too. This new song isn't as bad as stuff from their last album tho.

speaking of old linkin park, i found my reanimation cd the other day and forgot how good that album was also.

Reanimation is awful ... it taught me to never again buy a remix album. There are some good songs on there but there are at least as many that I can't stand. Then there are the voice messages ... wtf?

i was never a fan. they were cool/different when they were new. to me, the vocals sound the same on every LP song i hear.

short story...

i went to a big concert with several bands playing that night. Linkin Park was featured. they played have a set, everyone loved it. then the lead vocalist announces that he's bringing his solo band out on stage to play a few songs. there were some "boo's" and people were walking away from the stage, going for beers. i took advantage of this opportunity to get up closer because TOOL was coming up next. so they played 3 or 4 songs, got little or no applause. then brought the rest of Linkin Park out on stage and finished the set, playing their radio hits.

i don't know what people are thinking these days.

so........ did MTV have to debut this video online because they no longer show music videos on Music Television?

Song has already been licensed for the Medal of Honor game. It won't be used for T3. Also remember, they came out with a track specifically for T2.

Plus.....this track is dumb as hell when it comes to the beat. The lyrics are cool, but the beat reminds me of some dumbass euro-techno song.
