DALE JR WINS IN THE #3 WRANGLER CHEVY AT DAYTONA!!!
What an exciting and emotional win tonight at Daytona when Dale Jr took the #3 Wrangler Chevy into Victory Lane in the car that was a tribute to his late dad...
 I bet Jr had a very special angel riding shotgun with him in the #3 car!!!...  I bet there wasn't a dry eye in the house...  I was crying tears of joy  and tears of sadness that his dad wasn't standing next to him in victory lane, however I know Sr was smiling down on him from a front row seat in heaven... Congrats Jr!!!...Way 2 Go!!!...

I didnt get to see the race but watched all the highlights and interviews after. That was really cool.
Awesome way for Junior to honor his dad.

 I'm not even much of an Earnhardt Jr. fan (always a fan of his Dad) but when I saw that he was going to drive his father's car, there was no way I would miss the race. When he won, I jumped up and down like Dale Sr. himself had just won the Daytona 500 all over again. My dad thought I had went crazy. But since this thread is Jr. winning in his dad's car... I have to put my favorite quote by The Intimidator himself... 2001 Daytona 500 after qualifying, interview with Jr. and Sr. -- Dale Sr. ", You know, We may have the same name, but I don't want to be known as Senior... it makes me feel like an old man." |
