Attn: All who attended the Charleston gathering

Hey all,

I know I don't post here much and I'm sorry if this in the wrong section. As a reminder, I'm the enthusiast/Camp Happy Days volunteer who took donations at the Charleston gathering. Those that were there and heard me talk about Camp Happy Days may remember me telling you about Pearl, one of our precious campers. I am heartbroken to tell you that Pearl has lost her battle to cancer and passed away Tuesday night. All of us at Camp Happy Days are grieving the loss of this sweet angel who so many of us loved with all our hearts. However, we can take comfort in knowing that Camp was Pearl's favorite place in the whole world and she told everyone that. Camp gave Pearl hundreds of priceless memories and friendships that transcend the bonds of life and death. My heart is aching, but I am glad that she had Camp and am glad for people like you who donate to make Camp possible for so many kids just like Pearl. Thank you again for your donations. You don't know what it will mean to a child like Pearl. If I can ask one more thing of you, please keep Pearl's family in your thoughts and prayers. They will need all the comfort in the world for a while.
