Like other have said, you will have to rev the crap out of it to get any power so around town driving will suck compared to the V6 in the Camaro.

As for technology, the V6 is direct injection, which is pretty high tech these days.
have you driven one? you make it sound like driving around at 3000 rpm is physically taxing chore.

around town driving is just fine in the Si.

actually yes, cause you have more power, your not driving a honda, you have more cylinders, and your probably getting the same mpg's running on regular fuel with a bigger engine

i like the new SI they are decently quick and very reliable, my roots are honda's (GSR) but stock for stock there is no comparison. Camaro V6 > Civic SI

I agree, not bad, but the Camaro will be better.

No I haven't driven one, but I have driven an AP1 S2000 with intake/exhaust and tuned ECU. At low rpms, that thing was slow. It really never pushed me back in the seat until that vtec cam hit at what, 7K rpm or whatever. With the Camaro's higher torque at a lower rpm, it makes for better around town driving, especially if you have a manual tranny.

Honda engines are gutless. Driving around at 3,000RPM is a waste of fuel when you could be driving at half that RPM with a real engine.

This is at least a 100 hp boost. Game over, you lose.
