Been riding since I was 13 !! First in the dirt, now on asphalt...nothing but a H-D 08 Street Glide now....gotta love the Sturgis Rally !!!

If you remember that rash of pocket bikes n scooters a few years back they
scared folks off the streets with flyers saying you have to be atleast 16,
have DOT tires and insurance to ride them and some other things.
Like it was possible to do so.

Sort of like a bicycle I would guess, they are street legal by law / pass the
min DOT requirements for street use.
Why you can slap one of them motors on it and go, its already street legal and
long as it stays under 30, no special license if you can drive.

And have thought of buying one of those but it would go faster then 30,
can find 80cc bicycle kits on ebay

Guess my point would be if you could do that with a tiny pocket bike or a bicycle why not a 4wheeler with FI, power steering and ABS, them things are as fancy as cars now a days.

I just came back from Logan,WV for a weekend ATV trail fest where you can ride anywhere on the streets with an atv dirt bike etc tag or no tag , they open the main roads to all off road vehicles but apparently all year long you can ride them in downtown Logan without tags, they have specific street signs like "no atv's allowed" and "no reving engines or wheelies after 10:00pm". You can ride through the drive thru at McDonald's even or the bank! It was awesome, we were driving down a main road at 50 mph in the side by side passing cops and they just waved, I felt guilty every time we passed one thinking they were going to turn around and come get us. The main purpose of riding between towns on the main highway was to get to mountain trails to ride, they have over 500 miles and 6 different trail heads to go on. It was great!
