Finally introducing myself

I bought a 17 1SS back at the end of Winter. I had tried relentlessly to get registered but didn’t get a verification email. Looks like I’m in now, and glad to be. I’ve got 10s of thousands of posts across various car and bike forums over the years. Looking forward to getting to post rather than just be a lurker. I’m in the N. AL area. Taking the car to Talladega Gran Prix, Nashville Superspeedway, and eventually Barber. I’m actually considering downgrading to a 5th gen so as to not have such an investment in the track car.

CONGRATS on the ride, and Welcome to our happy little corner of the net, and to Camaro5/6. There is a BIG fridge on the back porch with anything you can think of in it...help yourself...of course only take what you can LEGALLY have. Make yourself at home on one of the big fluffy couches, kick your shoes off, put your feet up on one of the tables, yes we are allowed to do that, mom's, wives', husbands, girlfriends and boyfriends here don't care....and take it easy.

oh...btw....every once in a while a food fight breaks out...so you may not want to wear nice clothes here.

Welcome!!

"Downgrading"(?). LOL! Welcome to the forum. I love Alabama. Bought my Z/28 from Lynn Layton in Decatur. Very nice folks.

I think it can be viewed as a downgrade, depending on your point of view. I love the exterior of the 5th gen though and I think the LS is a great engine. I’d be happy regardless.

Here is a pic, as requested.

Looks great like the wheels. Were they on the car when you got it.

Welcome! Great looking Camaro. That color really goes with those wheels.
