the fact that the the security system is integrated into the car's sound system mainly the radio. I am SO glad my car has factory CD as the cost of the adapters to keep your chimes and alarm system after switching is $$$

the fact that I have to take APART the steering wheel and removing the driver side air bag if i have to replace the steering wheel mounted cruise control buttons (mine light up and the black coating that covers up all BUT the letters is rubbing off in patches and looks UGLY ).

May I ask Why you want to disable the automatic headlights? I had a 2003 Monte, and I loved that feature, My HHR and My Sky both have that feature also....and if you need to turn them off or on at any time you can until you shut off the car, that is what the headlight switch is for (it's in the owners manual).
You never have to remember to turn on your headlights and best of all you CANNOT ever leave them on and run your battery down when in automatic.
