2009 gmc denali alarm question or any gm alarm

tried getting in my truck today and none of my beepers worked .i used key to enter truck and alarm went off put key in ignition and still wouldnt shut off alarm or start truck what could be the problem

could it be a bad battery on your key fob.

no i tried that what are the odds of both it has something to do with when i put key in door to open it looks like it is not reconizing the key i think all factory
