Garage remodel.
I'm planning on refinishing my garage with plywood. The previous owner ate a shotgun in the garage and some of the sheetrock looks kinda wavy from the cleanup. I was thinking of plywood instead of sheetrock for durability and the ability to mount things pretty much anywhere. My worry is the lighting might be compromised from the color. Has anyone done this to their garage?

Old garage was mostly drywall but I did wood sheet 1 wall just because I had the wood. Sprayed the ceiling and walls in white which helped. My garage now has walls of lower 4ft in steel siding/roofing, 4ft of pegboard and 6ft of steel siding/roofing. The prior owner had it done along with power galore. Couldn’t be happier. Car siding painted white would probably look good and you could mount a lot, but costlier to just wood sheets. LED lighting is a game changer as well. That’s #247 on my ToDo list.
