New guy to the forum.
Just wanted to introduce myself to the forum. My name is Paul and I just purchased a 2014 zl1 and you guessed, nightfall gray.
On December 27th my 04 GTO caught fire and burned up in about 4 minutes. It was a 12 year build. Texas speed 408 stroker with a f1a procharger and more. It was my baby. Made 820whp and was quite a ride. Now, with the zl1 I will be starting another build, but, I am convinced this is a very flexible platform to work with. I don't think I need a motor like what I lost, but certainly more than what I have. The zl1 only had 4200 miles on it, so it's very much new. I will be looking at build info and things I can do to add some "pop" under the hood. My GTO was a nice show car, so I miss having that as well. I'm getting used to driving the Camaro, and the more I do, the more I like it. I hope to meet a lot of people on this forumessage, I know there's tons of knowledge and experience here. |

Welcome to the Forum man! You're going to love the updates the ZL1 has to offer, and there's plenty of room for power. Ask as many questions as you have, it's better to get answers than to mess something up.

This is why after I started to mod and take my car to the track I added a fire extinguisher.

I should have had a complete system. I had a halon extinguisher mounted on the passenger side trans tunnel, but I wasn't going to open the hood with flames coming out of the wheel wells and out the cowl. This all happened while I was driving.
