I Got Pulled Over Twice In One Night Driving My Nissan Skyline GT-R

I have Doug beat... I got pulled over four times in one hour.

I was with some friends, in an unfamiliar town, windows were fogged... I slowed and came to a stop in an intersection, trying to read street signs (no other traffic around, except for the bear parked nearby). He pulled me over, gave me a field sobriety test, let me go with a fix- it ticket for a cracked windshield.

A few minutes later, I was pulled over for the same windshield issue, different cop. He let me go after showing him my freshly- issued ticket.

Five minutes later, the first cop red- lighted me again... said that he had just gotten word that my license was DUE to be suspended (for other violations) in about ten days... he was officially notifying me.

Ten minutes later, another cop pulled me over. I was seeing red--- quite literally--- so I got out of the car, went back to the officer's car, and demanded to know why he had just pulled me over... my fourth in an hour.

This guy just said, "Uh, sorry... you just looked suspicious. Don't sweat it, you are free to go..."

Ah, youth... and driving suspicious- looking cars with broken windshields and broken defrosters...

You're so lucky you didn't end up on the ground twitching for getting out and advancing on the officers vehicle.

Is this the same guy who took his car to a Nissan dealership for some work and got butt hurt that the techs didn't bust a nut in their pants because they didn't recognize how rare his car was?

Earlier this year I was thinking of getting one of the cleaner R32 Skyline GTS-T's from Japanese Classics. Same place where Doug got his from. They regularly have some cool Japanese vehicles coming in.... and I bet in some of the other types of models they import, you'd easily get pulled over by a LEO possibly due to curiosity as well.

Right. I've been driving 35 years and have owned well over 100 fast and modified performance cars over the years... never been pulled over. I take that back, was once - was excused as we were rushing to the emergency room (and that time it was in an old Bronco, LOL).
