New member, need help with purchasing decision

Hey guys. Eddie here, from Ohio. I'm purchasing a camaro either today or sometime next week. Just want to know if I am getting a good deal. The camaro I am looking at is a 4th gen v6 with 128k miles (rebuilt). Seller said he has all receipts for all of the new parts he put on it. Said something about a luxury package? It has the taller wing and the cool looking hood. I'll put pics up if I am able. The color is maroon. Everything is stock on it. He is asking 1600, I talked him down to 1500. I haven't went to look at it yet. Are there some things I should look for on this car? Like known issues? I have a scanner I can hook up to the ECU and check for codes. But that will only show me what hasn't been cleared. He said he has replaced all tire rods, CV shaft and everything in that area. And again. Has receipts to prove it. I'm completely stoked. It's always been my dream to own a camaro. Now I know the 3.4 v6 is slow. I don't mind. I just love the look of that body style. I can always hype up the engine later. What do you guys think.

I don't know much about V6 4th gens. But, you might consider, if you haven't already, posting in the 4th gen area here on C5?? And, maybe post to a dedicated 4th gen site, too? That might get more informed opinions?

Eddie, Welcome to our happy little corner of the net, and to Camaro5. There is a BIG fridge on the back porch with anything you can think of in it...help yourself...of course only take what you can LEGALLY have. Make yourself at home on one of the big fluffy couches, kick your shoes off, put your feet up on one of the tables, yes we are allowed to do that, mom's, wive's, husbands, girlfirends and boyfriends here don't care....and take it easy.

oh...btw....every once in a while a food fight breaks out...so you may not want to wear nice clothes here.
