It's a 370Z as in 3.7 Liter V6. In the Infiniti G37 it makes 330hp, 270lbs/ft torque. 0-60mph - 5.3 sec.

Price wise the 370Z will probably go up against the LS3 and and get its ass kicked. I wonder what the DI-V-6 will do because both V-6's have around the same tq numbers but the hp differ by about 25.

i think the V6 battle would be interesting... one i'd be willing to take. i hope the V6 camaro comes out on top of this battle, but it'd have to come down to handling, but we all know how good nissan is with their cars...

I don't know much about the Z prior to this last go around, but I thought they were a bit expensive for what you got (which wasn't much).
From what I hear, the 370z will be even more expensive. I can't figure out who is willing to pay that much for a "peppy" car.

Of course its a broke man's G37 but this car is for uptight folks who are scared of a RWD V-8.

I would'nt underestimate the new 370Z guys. Its supposed to have at least 330hp and only weigh around 3000 pounds. That power to weight ratio would be better than a 400hp camaro weighing about 3700 pounds. True it will be down quite a bit in the torque department, but the current model is down to the mustang by about 50 ft/lbs, yet it is just as fast. I believe the current engine is underrated at 306hp also. I may be cross-shopping bet. the two (along with a couple awd cars), but I heard the new Z is supposed to have a substantial price increase. The camaro "should" be a better bang for the buck car if they price it like we're thinking they should...

a buddy of mine has a 350z. its nice, if your single, and dont ever plan on having cargo or more than 2 people in your party.

they are fast, handle nicely, and are fun to drive. But, i will never buy one.

The camaro beats it in so many places its unreal. More room, power, the glory of a legendary line of cars, you dont feel cramped in it (i'm just speculating this, ofcourse i havent actually been in the new camaro), its a Chevy , oh and has a V8!
