road trip
I drove from Las Vegas to Mammouth Ca I was going to drive the Camaro but i ended driving my 2005 Ram Cummins turbo diesel. Granted I enjoy the Camaro to no end but nothing like a slighty modified diesel truck meaning intake upgraded, turbo upgrade-edge juice chip. Truck weighs about 7500 lbs running today between 75 to 80 got 19 mpg.

I like the wife's modified Dodge too. It's a lot more comfortable for the family, but it does take longer to get where we want to go. Keeping the wife from getting nauseous and not having to put a car seat in the Camaro make it the family car of choice. Plus, you can't fit the luggage for the entire family in the Camaro and the train horn in the Dodge is a lot of fun. I view the Dodge as one wicked alternative to a minivan, but it will never compare to the drive of the Camaro.

It's that a Camaro wouldn't do well at mammoth ski resort at 9k feet with snow vs a full size truck.
Truck for truck stuff/snow/off road. Camaro for going fast/cruising/fun drives!

Now, the entire truck bed is full with a three room tent, screen tent, chairs, totes with dishes and grills, propane coffee pot, luggage etc. I always ask if we are prepping for the holocaust should it happen while we are away. The truck has a roll up tonneau. Plus, the trunk has my nitrous bottles (15# and Nano) in it and while it only takes 30 minutes to take it all out, I'd rather not.
