People you talk to that you would've never thought drove a Camaro?

Recently got a new job, so during my old position's exit interview I had the opportunity to talk with the assistant director and director of the IT department I worked for.

We were shooting the shit a little bit, and when I told them my commute was totally worth it (4-5hrs a day) since I bought a Camaro, both of them spoke up..

Turns out, the assistant director owned a '68 vert and the director owned a '72 coupe! Neither of them knew about each other's old Camaros either!

Thought it was pretty cool.

Anyone else have a similar experience, where you're talking to someone you think wouldn't care at all about cars, and find out they used to be huge gearheads?

Hahaha. In the blue state of MA it is quite a different story.

Edit: Michigan is blue too I guess but... Motor city and all.
