I just removed the side trim off of my '93 New Yorker, and it seems as though it was held on with double sided tape.
I'm guessing the same type of stuff that holds some of the emblems on, it's just 16 years older. There is some still left on the car, and it won't simply wipe off. I even tried a hair-drier, and it is still there, even with scrubbing like crazy. I don't want to have repaint anything (I don't have the money), so can anybody present me with a few effective solutions to help me remove the left over tape/gunk/debris from my car? Any and all suggestions would be MUCH appreciated. Thanks in advance... |

there is a product called OOPS that works very well its almost like nail polish remover. I used it to remove the residue left over when i removed pin stripes, and the 'dealer emblem' on the trunk lid of my Monte Carlo. You should find it in the same parts of stores that sell house paint and supplies
