Hello Camaro5 members.

Hello, I have been enjoying this site for about a year and a half now. I finally made an acount. I came apon this site while looking for a used camaro online. I was waiting for my truck to be paid off, but was checking what the market had and what prices were. After checking for about a year it was getting close to buy time. I was very much price oriented, and was wanting an SS.I was checking all the sale site, and came across a 2SS on cargurs that was about 100miles from my home. So one saturday I talked my youngest into going for a drive with me to look at a car. The car was priced a little more than what I was looking for, but if they would deal at all I could be where I wanted. The car had graphics like no other I had seen, which I liked very much. After test driving the dealer started hammering me on what would it take to buy it today. I shot them a price that I thought was very low knowing they would counter. The price they came back with was in my budget, and lower than any other SS I had seen. The car was not perfect it had 55, 000 miles, and some paint flaws. I still thought it was a good deal, so I pulled the trigger and bought it. While waiting for the paperwork to be done I goggled the graphics on the car, and found out what I had bought.it is a 2SS/RS centennial Indy edition. I love the car. Did I get a good deal I don't know, I got the car of my dreams for a price I was happy with.

Nice find and welcome to C5! Can definitely tell it's an early one from the GM square on the driver fender. They stopped putting those on sometime in early 2010 if I remember correctly. 55k miles is not bad for 3, almost 4 years.

Bill, CONGRATS on the ride, and Welcome to our happy little corner of the net, and to Camaro5. There is a BIG fridge on the back porch with anything you can think of in it...help yourself...of course only take what you can LEGALLY have. Make yourself at home on one of the big fluffy couches, kick your shoes off, put your feet up on one of the tables, yes we are allowed to do that, mom's, wive's, husbands, girlfirends and boyfriends here don't care....and take it easy.

oh...btw....every once in a while a food fight breaks out...so you may not want to wear nice clothes here.

Welcome!!

William R. I am enjoying my camaro very much. I am quite the bowtie fan, as I also have a restored 79 el camino, 07 Silverado 06 monte carlo, and an 06 equinox. I have always liked the camaro, but this is 1st one that I have owned.
