I just found out my mother has cancer

My mom had a physical done a few months ago and they noticed her Thyroid levels were out of whack. They put her on a thyroid pill and thought it would help. After not much change, they looked a little deeper. They found a nodule on her thyroid and did a biopsy on it Monday. She got the call today and they want to remove her thyroid via surgery. My parents can't afford the $500 deductible at this point so she is going to schedule the procedure for September.

I'm scared shitless and I'm a pretty bad worrier so I don't want to google the details. At this point I am going to sell everything I can to get the money together to have it done sooner. I only pray that this works and everything goes well.

If you guys don't mind, and you're religious type, please say a prayer for my mom.

I am sorry to hear that, my father died from cancer, as did my first wife and I have had a bout with it myself. Keep a positive attitude and tell her she has people praying for her.

Don't need to be a religious type to say a prayer now and then. Peace be with you and Prayers for your MOM. Remember what you can't carry give the rest up to the lord, he will help you with your Heavy load. Listen to me Not being a religious type and all ;0
