I feel this was a long time coming. Curious to see what the storyline is going to be.

The problem with "car movies" is that the cars are never the stars. They're just props, and that's including the Fast and Furious movies. There's no dialog or emphasis placed on any of the cars. The only movie I've seen that was really about cars was "Love the Beast", but that was a documentary. Even "Cannonball Run" was about a "car race", not about "cars".

I think this NFS movie might be the first fictional movie that is just all about cars, and the love of cars.

Modern movies use CG to stretch physics into unbelievable impossibilities. That's not entertainment since it looks so fake.
The best "stoopid" dialog and poor acting car movies are the ones that actually used filmed stunts. The best example of that is the original "Gone in 60 Seconds". No computer anything in that movie.
I would not waste my time with NFS or similar.

I'll watch it. Dbox is freaking amazing for car movies. Hell I watched the most recent fast and furious on it. Had a blast!
