Name That...Description Of A Noise?
So, I hope this doesn't let on how uneducated I am when it comes to cars, at least not too much.
I was pulling into work this morning, and I saw Hyundai Genesis Coupe drive past, and each time he shifted, I could hear what sounded like a highly compressed jet of air come out of his engine. What exactly is making that noise? |

It could be a blow off valve or a bypass valve. They both have the same purpose, but function differently. Some of them have noisemakers and whistlers for the ricers, but others aren't all that loud and obnoxious.
