BIG Brother sees you in the cloud:

Now your dealer knows ahead of your visit what's been going on.

Hi knowitman,

OnStar does have similar features and is standard on GM vehicles. By reading the thread above it seems that Delphi’s aftermarket solution expands this capability to non-GM or Hyundai vehicles.

An ambiguous new "buzz word" that basically means all the information, sites, and servers available on the internet. All of the sites, information, downloads, programs, your emails, etc. are "in the cloud." So basically "the cloud" is the internet. I guess sometimes they just have to invent new terms in order to make people feel stupid.

I feel like the people in sports cars would want less information about their driving habits being public or sent to a dealer/insurance agency? I know that would be the case for me..

The cloud is actually space on the internet that you can store your data and be available from multiple locations. So it's like a hard drive.. on the internet. You can save your information to that 'cloud' space and then access it from wherever, whenever you need it. Usually this works through a username or password.

It's an easy way to not take up your computers hard drive space while being able to access that data anyways.
