712 Young Men & women today became

AIRMEN. My husband, Daughter & i are here watching our Airman graduate from Basic Military Training (BMT) & man it was nice to see that our air force just increased by 712.
Son & his little sis.

CONGRATS. I also hope to be in San Antonio on Oct 18th to see my nephew graduate from basic training as well. As a matter a fact, he called today for the first time since he left for SA over a week ago and told us he still getting used to everything but doesn't wanna give up just quite yet so its a good sign.

I always heard that parents have a hard time recognizing their kid after USAFBMT because of how much weight they've lost and how toned they've become. Were you shocked at how different your son looked?

I wasnt the first one to him his sister was, today is her 14th birthday so we allowed her to tag him out. & yes he had changed. But still there is that scared little boy in him.
