1960s F1 racing

Who was your favorite team and driver?

I can't decide between Eagle and Dan Gurney, or Lotus and Jimmy Clark but...see signature pic. They also just happened to drive the two most beautiful cars driven in F1 ever, as far as I'm concerned

Nobody?

I thought you were car guys! 200 mph, no seatbelts until after Clark's death in '68, aluminum tubes filled with 80 gallons of avgas contained in rubber bladders running at 10,000 rpm, no downforce until '68, rock hard tires that lasted a whole weekend and 400 bhp in 1600 lb cars that raced on actual public roads as well as circuits, and not one of you likes it??

The morgue is thataway, 'cause you folks are dead and haven't realized it yet, lol

Then there's the era at large to consider, not just F1

I'm personally a late-80s, early-90s F1 fan. I didn't exist in the 60s

I like Led Zeppelin's first album. I hadn't been born when it came out. I first heard it in 1985. It flippin rocks

Is there a rule that says you're not supposed to like things that happened before you were born? Did I miss that memo?
