krispy kreme is almost extinct in Chicagoland... their glazed donuts were very good hot. And for all the flak they got for only having one good donut, its more than I can say for dunkin donuts, which in the region are always dry and taste like old oil. I had awesome DD in Boston when i visited, but every singe DD experience I have had out here has been horrible.

Krispy Kreme opened a brand new store in central Ct a couple of years ago- Didn't last long. Out of business in short order.
