Talking Top Gear: McLaren MP4-12C versus Ferrari 458

What an amazing pair of cars.

It blew me away that the McLaren scored so high on the track board! (I don't want to give it away).

It was nice to see a couple great supercars on Top Gear again.

I saw a similar comparison on the British 5th gear TV show. They hated the McLaren and loved the 458 beyond measure.

Any idea what episode that was? I'd be interested in seeing that.

On their track board, what's the vehicle that has the incredibly long name?

It looked like it was a horrendous spelling of the Koeniggsegg...like it was some kind of joke on how difficult it is to spell the manufacturer's name or something.

Yep, that's the one!

I love it when Clarkson was driving the Koenigsegg at high speed saying, "I think Koenigsegg is Swedish for 'Oh no, my head's just exploded!'"

Sweet car but Top Gear puts out the most bias reviews you can find on the internet. They are more of a marketing department then an independent reviewer.

Top Gear has the most amazing cinematography! I love the way they film the cars.

I think I would still take the 458, but it would be a close one. I would love to own them both
