Ford's FIRST retractable hard top car in 50 years!

I was doing a search for a video clip of the old 1950s Ford Galaxy retractable when I found this LINK. I read a story on this car in an issue of mustang and fords magazine. it is supposed to come out in 2009

I was looking up more info, and i found out its an aftermarket thing for the mustang and NOT from ford. here is a bigger but different video of the top in action HERE. it is still cool as hell though

Ford make a retractable hard-top Focus here in the UK. It's been on the roads for some time....

Looks like in order to turn it into a hardtop vert, they had to 86 the rear seats...and it also looks like the rear end is longer, no? Pretty cool anyways...and I'd buy the option for my Camaro...if done right.

Wow... that sounds like fun. any pics of the wild focus? ... I thought the US should get all the cool stuff from the US auto makers!!!

We don't see many on the roads - it's outclassed by the VW EOS. We also have the Astra Tripletop, the Peugeot 207/307 CCs, and a dozen other hard-top convertibles to choose from!
