IPHONE
I don't have one. I was just wondering what others thought.
MerF, you know why this thread is here, I think. |

Overpriced imo. The person I live with has one and loves it though.
Only part of it that really impresses me is the internet surfing capabilities. I'll wait until Verizon gets a version of it. For now my new LG enV is more than enough for me. |

I love the features, especially how it handles photographs.
I'm waiting for them to work out the bugs and the price to come down a little before I pull the trigger on one

I want to know why in the heck Sprint can't come out with something other than the freakin Treo. All these other cool phones are out and none of them can be switched over to Sprint....from my understanding.

Blackberry is sprint.
I won't be getting and iphone either. Anything that bears the apple log will never be in my possession. Too many old memories of IIGS and OSX. Hunter Cressil comes to mind. Treo does suck, blackberry is amazing, iphone is decent from what I hear, but too many kinks right now, it's about as popular as Windows Vista. |

My opinion; ALL CELL PHONES ARE A NUISANCE!
Seriously though, they're good to have with you should an emergency arise, and they do make life easier. But they can also make it more dangerous. Is it just me or have others seen increasing numbers of people driving while talking on their cell phones or worse yet texting while driving! (Man, that sounds like the ranting of an old man.) :o |

I drive and talk with my bluetooth headset....hands free. I hate drivers who get so into their conversation, that driving becomes second important to them. Fast lane...one driver in front of you...driving 55-60 in a 65mph zone...refusing to get over...you see the phone in hand...they never know you are there or that they are pissing people off because all of their attention is elsewhere....and I now want to blow up your car. Texting while driving is going to become illegal here very soon.

I played with an Iphone, its nice, but not very configurable like window based phones. I would rather put that money to good use..... Camaro Savings Account.
Although Tag, The HTC Wizard is now available for almost every carrier, for me its the Cingular 8125, for T-mobile its the MDA, Verizon the XV6700 and Sprint the PPC-6700 I have had mine over a year, it kills the Treos and Blackberrys IMO. Some highlights are: Windows Mobile 5- which includes Word and PowerPoint, Touch screen, bluetooth, infrared, Outlook, i can sync over 10,000 contacts ( I only need a third of that though), the list goes on. I love WM5 over Palm(treo) anyday. Something to look at if you dont like the Treo, and its a year old technology, so its getting cheap |

Hopefully our new Camaro will come with bluetooth capability ![]() As for the IPHONE, I think it's really neat. But there is no way that I'm going to throw away all that money on a phone...uh, uh, not gonna happen. I've got AT&T, formerly cingular, and it's great! I'm using the Cingular Sync, (it was named before the companys merged). I'm never without a signal, and I live out in the boonys. I have never had a dropped call, unless my battery runs out, either. Enough about that IPHONE=

My boyfriend's brother got an IPhone the day it came out, but he can claim it for work and write it off on his taxes (lucky SOB lol) It is a pretty cool little phone I have to say!! Not so much "phone" to it as there is "computer"... But it's still pretty awesome to think that in this day, we can fit all that information into such a small hand-held device! I remember back in the day when I used to sit at home watching Saved By The Bell, dreaming about Zack Morris, and watching him talk on his clunky silver "cell phone" that was really more like a cordless! lol Look how far we've came since the 80's!
