Dodge Daytona Concept
We actually have one on our lot here in Omaha, but it's baby blue.
I was never a big fan of the original either, but that one was based on the much longer Charger. This one is based on the current Challenger and the "nose cone" and the wing just seem cartoonishly big for the car. From what I heard through work, it costs $42K over and above a Challenger for the conversion, and there are no power upgrades. It's louder, but everything seems to be cosmetic. I liked it until I seen the Challenger rear end, just don't look right.

i think the Trans Am looks better... when comparing a Camaro body with Trans Am parts to a Challenger with Daytona parts..

Can't say that I like it neither.. I think Chrysler would do a better job
Would be cool if the "Roadrunner" came back

Agreed, the Road Runner would be cool......but they better do something to differentiate it from the Challenger....if it's just a package on the Challenger or Charger, then they better do a power/appearance upgrade of some kind. And not the appearance of this Daytona Concept.....that is not happening.
I also heard that someone has already agreed to buy the one we have on our lot for $130K....$35K over the already outrageous sticker price.....ridiculous. |
