Why dont you think it could hang for a long period of time?

Higher price = Being able to afford putting higher quality materials/more ''tech'' into the car.

Subtle differences are amplified over longer races.

You might be 4 seconds apart over a track which is 1.4 miles long, but on the nurburgring that's 30+ seconds

Ps. That Raptor is a sweet car. Just don't start a thread about it or you'll get Captain America talking about how the Silverado has a higher entry ground clearance....lol

Still less expensive than the Camaro and will offer better performance.
where the proof of performance how much hp does it have

It has 412hp... and weighs hundreds of lb's less.

That combined with (correct me if I'm wrong) better gears will all but guarantee it will out accelerate the SS.

3. If Ford offers the Brembo package as a separate option that does not require the Premium level, that would put it at a price of $31,340.

I don't include the destination charge.

Don't imply.

Unless Ford porks the 2011 beyond belief, the Mustang will be the better performer in all areas. Hate to burst your bubble.
lets talk hp what will that 5.0 put out there $80,000 gt500 barely beats the ss

That's why I just posted in here. After seeing it in person I dont see how it has a higher entry ground clearance. I would definitely take it places that I would'nt take my 03 Silverado.

P.S. Captain !@#$% is a turd. I did'nt say that out loud did I?

No, thats the overpriced GT500KR. The normal ones are just shy of $50,000. As for 'barely' out performing an SS, that only happens when the driver can't launch the car properly (which is somewhat common given the power and lack of grip on stock tires). But it should solidly out perform the Camaro on a very regular basis. To think otherwise is foolish.

$80K? I guess someone should tell my dealer they underpriced my 2010 GT500 by about $34,000.

The statement of "kept up" is very vague. That's like quoting C&D and saying the SS "can keep up with the GT500."

If it's somewhat common, then why is there not more evidence of it happening? I mean, I could understand when there where only a few Camaros on the roads, but this car has been in production since April. I figured we'd be able to see multiple instances of GT500's getting beat on YouTube or Streetfire by now. Unless of course, those types of scenarios are not so common or the GT500 guys are all excellent drivers.
