What one should realize is it is not YOUR money, it is their money and they can spend it how ever they want to.

They announced yesterday morning that all combintions had been purchased so the tickets I bought only assured a split pot which I would have been verrrrry happy to do. As it is a 3 way split is still pretty big money for each winner.

As for the odds, I look at it this way. In someones house somewhere in the U.S. is hidden a suitcase with the cash. To get the cash you have to knock on the right door. Not the neighbors door or the door across the street or someone who happens to know what house it has to be the house with the suitcase. You get to knock on one door for $1. Anywhere from Maine to California, Florida to Alaska..............................go start knocking. You have a 1 in 50 shot of getting the state right at least

I still remember a conversation with a guy who said, "I play every week, I can't believe I havn't won yet" and he was dead serious.

Also, I believe the numbers a picked randomly using the ping pong ball machine. If you want to ever watch that stream of money dry up just announce that it's rigged in any way. I'm sure it can pass the most in depth scrutiny.
