You just love to take one thing and make a statement on it without understanding the rest of what was written.. IF you will read the whole post I never said they were not still losing money, I said and I quote myself. "GM was on the way to recovery when the S__t hit the fan..The bleeding of money had slowed BUT they were still far from out of trouble"
What I meant by the statement you took was that Rick Wagoner would still have his job and GM would be on the way to recovery...NOT that GM would be making money right now, but then again we are both speculating on something that didn't have a chance of happening...

Just throught I'd throw out a list of people who played major parts in creating the mess that Wagoner et al have been trying to fix.

John F. Smith, Jr.
Ron Gettelfinger
Robert C. Stempel
Stephen Yokich
Roger B. Smith
Owen Bieber
Douglas Fraser
Leonard Woodcock
Thomas A. Murphy

And last but not least The United States Congress

The way I see it... if you really disagree with the direction GM is taking, vote with your dollars. Sell your Camaro pre-order to someone else, tell your dealer the government is meddling too much in GM and buy a Ford. Is anyone ready to take that step?

I just heard Nancy Pelosi say that GM "will" (her words) Cancel the V8 Programs because there not "Green Enough" and that V8 contribute too much to the Carbon foot print.

I see General Motors becoming Congressional Motors...

Everyone wants the new 2012 Pelosi GTxi SS/RT Sport Edition

http://genxfiles.com/2008/12/08/cong...12-the-pelosi/

Also California (Nancy Pelosi) Want to Ban Black Cars..
http://www.techcrunch.com/2009/03/26...an-black-cars/
Yea because they use more fuel than other colors to cool them down in the hot sun...

What Does President Obama, Nancy Pelosi or Reed know about running a business?
Obama was Jr Lawer for 6 years and a Community Organizer, Pelosi an Reed HAVE NEVER RAN A BUSINEES, they have been politicians all their lives. Why are they dictating how a company should be run?

Actually I am not kidding, It was on Fox News she was blabbing about the GM board menbers being removed and someone asked about restructioring of GM and blabbed about how she wants to remove V8's from GM's Car lineups because there not green enough.. I had a cow... I told my Wife right then we need to get the Camaro SS Now and not wait for the Convertable, If Nancy and company have their way the V6 will be the only car left in 2011.
