You do realize that a receiver doesn't need to be open for the QB to throw the ball, right? The corner was a step behind Shakir, and he was running his route directly at the safety, who was going to have to swivel around to stay with him. There was no way he was going to be able to do that in time, and that was the reason that Shakir was wide the F open. It's most likely how the route was designed and I'm pretty certain Josh knew that before he threw threw the pass.

Yes, I know how football works, believe it or not. 2nd and 9. Under 2 min left. The correct read is Diggs. Can a qb throw anywhere else and be successful? Of course. Still doesn’t mean it wasn’t the wrong read. The only people I’ve seen contradict that is bills fans.

As I said before Josh made the right decision to try and take the lead on second down rather than checking it down.

On 3rd down he also made the correct decision throwing it away to give the Bills a chance to tie the score.

I know how I want to see my QB to play and Josh plays like that.

After 20 years of check down charlies and joe averages its very refreshing to see a future HOF`er plying his craft for the Bills.

After 6 years in the league he is already at number 97 all time on the passing list if you added in his 3000 plus rushing yards he would be near 75

BTW 21 career playoff TD`s and only 4 ints busts the he can`t look after the ball schtick

One more factoid in spite of the turnover narrative JA17 has only thrown 1 (yes one) pick 6 in his career back in 2019

For reference Brady threw 18 pick sixes in his career.

Tua is 179th and 100 yards ahead of Mitch Truebiscuit

[Jim Mora] Hall of Fame!?! Don't talk about Hall of Fame. You kidding me? Hall of Fame? I just hope he can beat the Chiefs. [/Jim Mora]

You're getting way, way, way over your skis with Hall of Fame talk.

And I can't believe you actually brought Tom Brady into it. You really went there. In his first six seasons Brady had won three Super Bowls. Any comparison starts and ends with that.

I like the Bills and I like Josh, but lets be real.

How common, or uncommon does a player not make the pro bowl, but is an mvp finalist?

Who cares about the Pro Bowl

Iron Lung I think you miss my point...JA17 has had one pick six in 6 years

Brady pretty well had one every year he played and everyone considers him the best to ever play the position and rightly so and at this point JA17 couldn`t hold his jock strap.

BTW Alphabetically

Josh Allen

Lamar Jackson

Chris Mcaffery

Dak Prescott

Brock Purdy

Your 2023 MVP candidates

That should really trigger you

Trigger me? Nah. Tua shit the bed when it mattered most. Def shouldn’t be in the conversation.

I seemed to have triggered you, asking my question. I am really curious tho. I wasn’t trying to be an ass.

And I know you care about the pro bowl because you cared so much about a madden cover

One has to wonder if there was tampering for Vic Fangio. Less than 24hrs leaving Miami, he signs with the Eagles. Pretty impressive if no tampering.

I was thinking Iron Lung would be the one that got triggered

Even if he got invited I highly doubt he would go due to the shoulder injury and who knows what else got hurt(maybe his junk from Wilkens grabbing it)

One interesting stat is that JA17 had the Bills in the lead with 2:00 minutes or less in 4 of the 6 losses

So has the Madden curse been lifted or is it still a thing

March 13th at 4pm the leagues New Year starts and like most every year half the teams are over the cap.

Here are some of the worst

Per Spotrac, the New Orleans Saints have the worst cap space at -$82.8 million (55 contracts) followed by the Miami Dolphins at -$51.2 million (46 contracts) and Buffalo at $-51.1 million (57 players). The Washington Commanders have the most available ($83.5 million) while the Tennessee Titans ($73.9 million) and New England Patriots ($70.1 million) are next.

Notice how the teams with lots of cap generally suck LOL

I think just the Seahawks and Commanders are left with vacant HC jobs. BB going to retire? Take a year off and see what happens next season? Become a DC (very unlikely)? He’s old af. So I think he retires. Good try on the most wins. 2nd place isn’t that bad

The MVP is almost as meaningless as the Heisman. It is virtually certain to be a QB and he has to play for one of, if not the best team. And what exactly does "most valuable" mean? If "most valuable" means "most valuable" and not "best QB", there were a few years where Justin Tucker should have won it.

That said, Jackson is a lock. Is Jackson more valuable than Josh? No. Is he more valuable than any of the others on the list? Who knows.

And if you are going to put a token non QB on the list it should have been Deebo Samuel. The 49ers are clearly a much better team when he is on the field.
