Thats cool, the Camaro has this. Easily making 650HP and with the 6.2L's displacement I'm guessing whole hell of a lot more torque than the Mustang. Let the battle begin!

GM Performance Part’s all new LS9 Supercharger Package has been spotted! The leaked digital image below shows the new LS9 Supercharger Package, which can be installed on all LS engines with LS3 heads, including the motor in the Camaro SS. The LS9 Supercharger Package is powered by a Roots style supercharger and comes with upgraded intercooler kit, and gasket set.

The kit is not yet officially announced and is not yet on the GMP website, but LSXTV reports that the part # is 19244103 and is a live (orderable) part.

According to LSXTV, the LS9 Supercharger Package is already in stock and should be officially announced within the week. Expect no less than 650hp’s with this kit, if combined with the correct drive system and LS9 internals.

* For L99 Camaro owners - this may be installed on your motors since the LS3 and L99 motors share the same heads. All you have to do is delete AFM and VVT (basically an LS3 conversion).

Pricing has been quoted at $7,500.

Ford Racing upgrade for 2011 GT500....750HP

Ford Racing announces 2.9L supercharger upgrade package for the 2011 Shelby GT500 good for 750 horsepower

Ford Racing has some good news for owners of the 2011 Shelby GT500 who want to increase the performance of their car. The latest addition to the FRPP catalog is part number M-6066-MSVT29D, a supercharger upgrade package for the 2011 GT500 that pushes the aluminum block 5.4-liter V8 to produce 750 horsepower @ 6100 rpm and 670 lb-ft torque @ 4700 rpm. The kit swaps the 2.1L stock blower for a 2.9L Whipple assembly with a “Crusher” inlet allowing for 17 psi of boost. Also included in the package is Whipple’s 123mm MAF housing, a 65mm dual bore throttle body (part #M-9926-CJ65), an upgraded dual fuel pump assembly, and a Ford Racing ProCal tool with a performance calibration. The kit is 50 state emissions legal.

Pricing for the full 750 horsepower upgrade package is set at $6,295.00 with a polished version (M-6066-MSVT29PD) available for $300 more. Those who want to upgrade components separately can purchase the supercharger separately (M-6066-MSVT29TD) for $4,399.00.

Looks like it's $6,400 from discount stores. Anyone know exactly what the kit includes? Ford has there's pretty well thought out. I wouldn't be surprised if gm is just selling whats. In the image.

HD Radio? I guess some people actually listen to the radio often enough to justify it but I'd have to think that it is a small minority.

Dual zone climate control? Sorry, but someone explain to me how you can have two different climates in one open cabin? That's like having a swimming pool with a no pee section in it.

How much in addition to the $7,500 for the supercharger are the upgraded internals going to cost? And what is meant by "correct drive system"?

Are we talking over 10 grand?

Maybe you haven't been in a car that it works well in. In my BMW I can freeze on my side and my wife can be perfectly warm on her side. Maybe some cars work better than others but I know mine works excellent. Definately worth it.

All the Ford factory tunes are ultra-mild. After warranty, grab an Evo intake and tune and you will be at 600HP without missing a beat.

I would be choosing the ultra mild supercharger tune on purpose at this point. I could get for the same price a 624 HP system from Ford (click link below) but I don't need that much power...

Yep, the key is that you are not locked into one HP setting, upgrading is a 15 minute bolt-on......
