The manual tranny might add more power as it did to the g8. Just a thought & could explain why it'll be higher.

The auto version does not have a ls3, it's just a 6.2 alum block. Not a ls3.

Can't get pass the looks of it. In 10 years one word describes the SS. Forgetful.

Only if there is not a replacement for the SS by then. If the production doesn't move to the U.S. and a next gen SS doesn't move over to the Alpha platform I can see these going for a good price in the future.

Only 418 sold in 2013 and 865 sold in 2014 so far. Don't know how many manuals will be made, but if they limit them the way the G8 GXP manual was it will be even more rare.

I like that it has a manual option coming. Now we'll see if all those people commenting on various automotive websites and threads that say "If it would have had a manual I would have got it" will step up. Sales should double based on how many times I saw that! But I'm sure now they'll come up with a new excuse like "If it had the 8 Speed auto from the Stingray I would get it"

Just slap some Holden badges, different wheels, and lower it and it'll be fine

Sorry, I just couldn't. I know the interior in this car is insane and I am sure it is a blast to drive.

But I want my 400HP car to look sporty and exciting. To me looks are part of the total package. The SS just doesn't do it for me, its to bland in it's styling. If I saw one driving down the street at a glance I would probably say Malibu or Impala. It is not as exciting looking to me as the G8 GXP, Charger R/T, SRT8, hell even the base 14' CTS looks more exciting to me.

i totally disagree

All it needs is some window tint and maybe new wheels and the right color looks great on these cars. that red one posted above with the black wheels looks awesome

The SS is a nice offering, just pricey for a chevy. The manual and especially the MR would convince me if I had that kind of cash. The inside is nice but it's nothing that'll blow you away.

I wish I'd have picked up a g8 gxp. There were 3 sitting on the lot when pontiac got the axe priced down to like 34k. The used ones out there don't go for significantly less.
