I hear you on the sound aspect. McLaren's are underwhelming in that arena. How was the reliability of your 720s? I always hear mixed reviews. |

It’s been a lot of fun I’ve had my eye on one for a while but refused to pay additional markups. It’s black with bronze option wheels and a high spoiler blew me away in the showroom went to get part traded in my unwashed SS on the spot and they gave me what I wanted on the trade. If you can pay cash it’s a very good time to buy. The economy will most likely improve dramatically now so interest rates may fall again and increase demand. After MY 25 all cars will be mandated to monitor driver and I will likely never buy anything after 25 due to these restrictions. My SS only had 6K and I never intended to trade her but I still have the ZL1 and couldn’t resist

You can almost part the Red Sea with a C8 where I live lol. They wait for you on 4 way stops even when it’s not your turn. The ZL1 and SS prepared me well for the C8 even when I turn traction control off etc and it gets it of shape it’s easy to recover and more composed.

I honestly have no issues with my automatic ZL1, it does what I want when I want, great engineering before the downfall.

I’m going to use it for my “daily driver” and keep the miles off the ZL1 (irreplaceable new)
It works great for the street easier to control and even highway mileage extremely good with adm so I can use it for my rare trips. I don’t have to work anymore so no extra miles from daily grind or anything like that. Coupe with light and motor in rear window. One of the few cars I would have given up my 23 SS for that’s for sure |

Of course you don’t have 650/650 at your beck and call but it hooks up easier to control no long driveshaft hp loses and makes peak power later in the rpm range due to higher intake manifold. But still the torque is good - better than the Z06 and you don’t have to wind it out.

And the top speed is higher than a Z06 too but I’m sure it doesn’t feel like it lol
