Apple actually went to Verizon first.. Verizon wouldn't deal with them. AT&T sweetened the deal with visual voice mail (WHICH IS AWESOME) and the rest is history. It looks like iPhone is going to surpass iPod sales for the first year or it will be darn close.

I heard they are already working on other devices similar to the IPHONE that will be coming out in about a year or so, and should be cheaper too.

Actually, there's a Nokia that is apparently the same as the LG Prada, only minus the premium you're paying for the Prada name. |

This website is hilarious, and it brings up a good point. Be aware, its vulgar.

Ok..well it's not Iphone related, but it is cell phone related. So, here goes.
My wife bought a cell phone back in April. Two weeks go by. She calls and they say the order never went through. They re-order the phone. A phone shows up the next day....hmm. That was the phone we were supposed to get. Two weeks later, we get another phone. We immediately call Sprint, since we are honest people to tell them their mix up and to send us packaging to return the phone. They send us the return package. But, next months bill has 3 freaking charges for phones!!! They cancel one charge and say they have to wait for the other phone to get to the factory before they can reimburse us. Of couse, we complained about that. But, we could understand....seeing as though it was going to come off. For the next 5 months, we have had the charge show up. We call and they take it off. Finally, my wife says I call....I deal w/ it. So, I do. Long story short, Sprint did a lot to keep our business. We've been w/ them for 10 years....never a problem. They gave us a new plan saving us $5 a month and free roaming. Then, they gave us each 500 free text messages per month for the life of our plan. Then, they gave us Power Vision plan for $10 a month total for two years. Not bad at all...I'm happy....finally... |

I finally played around with my boyfriend's brother's I-Phone the other night and I love it! The Maps thing that it has on it is pretty awesome... Instead of GPS I would much rather have an I-Phone! lol You can put in a destination that you want to go to and it will pull up a detailed list of instructions about how to get there, you can look at a map, and you can also see a satellite image of what an intersection or turn looks like from space! It's kickass! He also has tons of music on there.
He said that he has a (I'm guessing...) port-type thing where he can hook his phone up and download updates from the computer so that instead of having to get a whole new phone, he can just download the updates on there. I forgot how much memory the phone had, but was a good amount! I'm not sure what kind of button you would hit that would take you back to the main menu, except for the only button on the whole phone besides the touch screen???

These are the pros/cons imho: Pros: Lightweight, slips into your pocket easily and comfortably Big color LCD screen Camera is decent quality Polyphonic Ringtone Capability Cons: Very slippery and can fall out of your pocket/hand and hit the ground quite easily Sound quality for calls is amazingly terrible Speakerphone volume is only as loud as turning the volume up to full and holding it from your ear (both are the same volume) Getting to your text messages if you don't have a new one to read is difficult to learn Battery stops holding a charge after about 3 months (3 different RAZRs with at least 2 batteries each) AC chargers stop charging the phone after about 5-6 months (To get it to charge now I have to find a new one and plug it in and wiggle the little head slightly until it recognizes the power exchange, and even then half the time it'll move by hitting the table, walking on the carpet and cut the connection off) The phone I have now (6 months) takes 8 hours to charge if it's off. double that if the phone is on while being charged And there's a lot more I can say about it. Moral: If the KRZR is just a new look for the RAZR, I would highly recommend against it. As for main topic of the post. I still think Blackberry is better than the iPhone but that's just me. |
