You might be surprised, the Corvette is classified as a luxury car in the insurance books.

The $20 a month extra I could handle but not the extra $620 a month more than what I pay for my Mustang. When I bought my Mustang new in 2006 a new C6 was $40,000+ more than what I paid for my Mustang($77,000 vs $36,000- I live in Canada and our dollar was very low back then). Plus it doesn't suck driving a 500 HP Mustang. Hopefully one day I'll get a C6 Vette. I almost traded my GT to a buddy that had a 2005 C6 Z51 but he need the money more than another car, so it didn't work out. I got to drive it on several occasions and it was a blast. My Mustang would pull on him easily in a straight line but come the first corner I was ****ed. That Z51 can carve the corners like mad!!!

I'd love to have a new Z06, I love the widebody look and the insane performance. Unfortunately it's way out of my price range. But never say never.

im sure you could get a great deal on a mildly used one in todays market.

i know people who leave their Aston Martins in the garage collecting dust because they cant match the thrills in their ZO6

My first response to the Mustang's interior?

"Boring as all hell."

Looks like Ford deviated only slightly from the "boxes within boxes" design language.

C'mon Ford. You can do better than that.

Good eye. Improvements include, but are not limited to.....

The entire dash is made of soft touch material

Other materials are improved including those used on door panels and center console

Seating is improved in both design and materials

The aluminum trim is actual aluminum, not painted plastic.

Fit and Finish are substantially improved.

2010 mustang GT track pack tested!! impresive

http://www.motortrend.com/roadtests/...est/index.html

I must admit I am a little surprised.
3.73 gears
0-60 4.9sec
.95gs!! of lateral acceleration
60-0 in only 108ft.
3572lb curb weight

Though to get this type of performance out of the mustang, the price gap is virtually non-existant comparing the camaro. What do you guys think??
