I don't disagree with you on the new vs used thing. My point is that people just get so intense on numbers on here sometimes.

As far as the subjective should never overrule performance part, this can't really be accurate either. Very very few of the people here actually buy their car to race. They buy it because it looks cool and has 'enough' power (ya someone's going to say it's never enough-but really- for 95% of you-it's enough). By 'enough' power I mean it's in the competitive ballpark, after that it's all looks and attitude. You can see that by how the board reacted when the 2011 Mustang was tested. The reaction changed on the Camaro from "it's the fastest" to "it's a driver's race and the mustang's ugly". I'd rather own a Challenger than a Mustang and I know I'm not alone.
