this is for the 2011 mustang 5.0. The starting msrp might be lower but to get brembos costs at least 1500 so it brings it right back up. ford has plenty more options than chevy does but it costs you. 2ss/rs is around 36k but a 5.0 with random stuff can get up to 40k...this is of course without dealer installed things. i am sure there are alot of dealers willing to cut a deal for a '10 camaro but i don't understand why "we" should help you find the work so you can join the darkside(that i am sadly not apart of yet). deals arent just going to fall in your lap unless you do the work. there are some dealers on here that i am sure will make a deal with you but hell, some dealers close to you might do that as well.

I don't mean to be an ass or anything. i understand asking advise or personal opinion, but to do the work for you is different.

Talk to CamaroScotty or Eric Hall from this forum. You'll be able to get MSRP - Preferred Pricing - USAA discount. The Preferred Pricing is a % discount so it depends on your options. The USAA is $750 off the top.

I walked out with a 2SS with Polished Wheels ($480) for $33,500 + TTL.

You don't have to pay MSRP unless you just want to. There are deals and if you can wait about 4 mths there will be even better deals on 2010 when the 2011 start hitting the floor.

BTW: I'm not brand specific...although I personally don't like the changes they did to the new Mustangs at all. If the Camaro wouldn't have come out I was going to get a Shelby. I still like the looks of a nicely modded Mustang but the Camaro just makes me . You need to get a test drive in an SS.

Here is a Mustang I lost out to about half a day to late. I would still have this one....not over the Camaro by any means but is was only $22k with 17k on it about a year ago.

I agree... You can imagine I was a little pissed when I goofed around and someone bought it before I could get to it. It was going to be a 5 hr drive to get it which is why I took so long to make my decision.

I kept the pictures because I wanted to replicate it as much as I could.....but then the Camaro came out and it became my #2 choice.

OP : If all those things are wrong , your car is not a lemon.

In order to be a LEMON the SAME EXACT PROBLEM has to occur three times in a row.

He better hope it's a lemon or he's gonna take a HUGE hit if he trades for a new Camaro or new Mustang.

I've had no problem with my 2ss except the sound, which I cured by upgrading to he flowmaster hushpower axle back. in many years of buying cars i've learned one thing,,don't bash because i didn't get a better deal or have a beef with the brand. if I don't like it don't buy it,,if I bought it and didn't like it sold it and moved on..cryed in private.

It just doesn't have to be for the same problem. It is also based on how long it's had to be in the shop for total.

It was in the shop 4-5 times for sync, 3 times 4 monday for the door problem. Ford has opened the investigation and I have a lawyer that said it is a lemon. :/

My 1SS with sunroof, 6 Speed manual stickered for $34,165 I got it for 33,000 out the door with the 4 gauge pkg included in the deal. Yes, I did say out the door, tax, tag, title, 4 gague package, everything....... I traded an 06 Silverado with a payoff of 14,800 and a KBB trade in price of 15,200. Oh yea , I'm happy. It can be done, you jaut have to work the deal and know what you are willing to do.

Not going to argue that they both have good and bad, all cars do. But the post I quoted before sure sounded like it had a lot of sarcasm in it, so I responded in kind.

Family friends own a dealership? Awesome for you! Think the 11 Mustang won't pile up on lots? Think again. Several months, doubt it. They didn't change enough on the outside for most people to care. Yes, the powertrains have all the appearance to really make the Mustang a contender, but the outside doesn't look any different then what is available right now, and there are 10s on lots all over.

There are Camaros on lots too, enough so that if one really wanted to make a deal, it will be easy enough to do!
