If you're willing you can find a Pontiac G5 for dirt cheap right now, brand new. Think they are still doing like $6,000 discounts? G5 is really the same thing as the cobalt, just slightly different look.

Well, I do have a jetski that I could have to haul, as well as a 4 wheeler. But IDK how muddin in a truck kills the whole reason I got it? Dude, I will never own that hideous looking Aveo.

Poll?
I really see no point of having two fast vehicles. Plus with the money I'd save from buying a mid-level Cobalt or a truck instead of the SS, I'd have enough money then to buy my HPE550 package for the Camaro.

Why dump your money into two different vehicles when you could make your first vehicle that much faster?

Mudding kills the point of a fuel efficient vehicle because it isn't fuel efficient. Besides, you have other things to run in the mud. You're likely not to be hauling stuff everyday. I agree with you on the Aveo. Maybe that Aveo RS concept will make production and change my mind a little. Go with the Cobalt.

Well MPG doesn't really bother me at this point. Like I said earlier, I would only buy a Cobalt if I really needed that extra money. But as of right now, the MPG would only be an added perk and it's not the main reason why I'm buying a vehicle. Plus the Cobalt would have the same downfalls in the snow as my Camaro would, and that sucks cause I couldn't go anywhere for three days like a week ago because of the hardcore snow that was there lol.

It seems there is no real reason for you to get the Cobalt then. The Silverado excels in all the categories that matter to you.

I needed mpg for my daily 40 mile commute...but I can tell you that having driven our Company Silverado for some time, now...I almost wish I had gotten one of those instead of the Cobalt. Very nice trucks.

May I ask what problems in the snow the Cobalt has?

Well It will come down to which I can get a better deal on probably. I think I've already found a 07.5 Silverado in great shape for like $11,000!

The same problem every FWD Vehicle has, icy roads.

hmmm...I guess I haven't noticed.

Sorry...living where I do...I like hearing people reference the car when talking about winter.
I've come to firmly believe that that it comes down to the driver, and then the tires.
