Opel should be Chevrolet. There should be no Opel, no Vauxhall, no Holden. Regional or semi regional (Opel) names were fine 50 years ago. Toyota, Honda, Subaru, Mazda are all the same brand where ever you go. The reason GM Europe (read that as Opel) is they never wanted to be part of GM...........ever. It's the only place I've been where you can find signs in hourly and salary alike that say "Opel is German". They didn't want to be part of GM and don't today. They actually blame GM for all their woes. If not for being owned by GM they would be kicking VWs butt.......just ask them.
