Yeah, it seems GMC and Buick are unneeded, but in reality if people dont want to pay for Cadillac and want a little more luxury than a Chevy, they turn to Buick. Same for GMCs, more upscale Chevys. And i think the "9 NEW Models" title is a little bit of a misnomer. They are really all just facelifts and new body styles correct? Personally, when i hear new models, i think of concepts becoming reality. theres my 2 cents
The trucks/SUVs are all-new. Encore is a new product as well. The Buick sedans are just getting mild MCEs to the front/rear fascias and some interior improvements.

Glad to see they're bringing the midsize truck back. I would love a Regal GS two door version. That would be sweet. If they can do it with a crappy Accord and pull it off, why not a two door Regal GS?

Im excited to see the new trucks. As much as I prefer Ford trucks over GM, I personally think the Sierra is the best looking truck on the market

Hopefully this "new" Regal has the proper Vauxhall VXR 6cylinder with AWD like the Regal GS should have.......

Profit is the name of the game and right now GM is number 1 in size and number 3 in profit (VW is #1 and Ford is #2). How do you change that? Drop GMC and Buick. As stated, there is no real difference between GMC trucks and Chevy truck (as far as I can tell). Whatever differences there might be are minuscule at best. They can certainly be rolled into the Chevy as an option. Buick, take the top sellers and rebadge them. Now not only are you saving money in production but you don't need a separate marketing/advertising team or overpaid executives. Again, this is just my opinion.
GM will be VERY profitable if they go through the legal bankruptcy procedure next time.
