It was a very busy morning followed by a slow afternood trying to catch up from hte morning's drama & not succeeding. My daughter decided to spend the night with erh cousin after they have a "girls night out" to all hours. I hope they are smart & safe. As for me, I better go do the rest of my work. Jeanette & Jan - Thinking of both of you. Jan..........I understand the kid drama...........sometimes you just have to realize that they are now adults and you just have to hope that they'll remember their raising as they mature. Doesn't really make it less painful to watch them make mistakes though

He was a no-show for signing.... I signed, he's supposed to tomorrow. He sent me a not-so-nice text, I was FUMING mad But, Washington is a no-fault state, so even if he decided to never sign anything, it would still be over eventually. I vented for a while, did some chores around the house, visited with a friend, and I feel much better... Now I'm just tired.

Good morning crew. One good thing about the week after a long holiday weekend is that hump day arrives quickly. Happy hump day morning. It is going to be a hot day here, breaking into the 90's. I'm not complaining. I guess I'd better get myself moving & off to work. Have a good day everyone.

Good evening. It was a weird day. Only 3 clients showed up but my phone rang off the hook. I had a long dance class again then watered all my newly planted flowers before showering & having my supper. Boy am I tired, but it feels good. Jina (daughter) will spend the night here then leave early in the morning. Hopefully she can return to her life feeling refreshed & rejuvinated. As for me........................is it Friday yet??????????????????

Good morning. Cool morning here but the day will be steamy & chance of rain. Jina is still asleep but wants me to wake her up here shortly to get ready for her long drive home. Crappy day yesterday, too - the computers at work keep crashing. I couldn't do anything for probably 4 hours total yesterday... CenturyLink blamed it on the weather, saying that water got in a line and caused a short in the DSL.... It has been raining a lot lately, but not as much as, say, November, and we never had problems then.

Ladybug is getting her pre-track inspection after work today, my track day is Sunday. I'm getting soooooo excited!!

Finally a nice day here. Been raining the last two days. BTW, I found the setting on my "new" laptop that was preventing the QuickLinks/Subscribed Threads thing from working. Yay.

Good evening gang. I got some good news today (small good news, but I'm easily amused). At the Camaro Homecoming event at our local Chevy dealership, They had a nice large vinyl banner hanging with a picture of a yellow Camaro & a fighter jet (I did not look closely enough to remember what kind) on it. They had a low turnout due to having chosen a date competing with the huge Good Guys Car Show in Nashville and weather that looked like it might rain any minute. Our club turned out well though & helped turn what would have been a pitiful showing into a decent one. At the end of the event I asked what they planned to do with it when it was taken down. They said some one had said they wanted it but they were not sure. I asked that they definately not throw it our as I really would like to have it. One of the sales guys said "Well, she got her club to show up with quite a few Camaros".......... So I said, "Yeah, I did, I deserve something for that don't I?" Then they said well the owner is right here ask him. I told him who I was & that I had bought my first brand new car there, a Cavalier. We talked about it a little while then he said he thought it would be okay. I gave then a club card with my contact phone # but really did not think I would hear from them. They called me late yesterday & said I could come & get it. Mike went & picked it up today.

Then he called me at work & told me he had picked it up and that he called and found out my Specialty plate for Ruby is in. We will pick it up tomorrow after work. Pics to follow tomorrow afternoon of both. I know these are small things but the rest of the day at work I was a giddy as a kid in a candyshop.

I think both items would make anyones day a great day. And i don't know you personally,but just chatting on here with you. I think you deserve both of them.

Road course. It's a high performance driving event put on by The National Autosport Association. Instructors ride along for a minimum of 2 laps. It's being held at The Ridge, which is a new track in Shelton, WA.

Of course, Ladybug passed inspection, no problem. The guy who did it said "This is a beautiful car, I can't believe you're going to race it" Why does everyone keep saying that???
