The only thing that makes the Z/28 NOT a DD is you can't even pull into, or out of, a slight angled uphill driveway without it becoming a scraper. If that spoiler on the front doesn't scream, trailered, track-only car, I don't know what does. And a parking lot curb would rip the dang thing off. Nice looking but impractical for the street, imo.
Don't get me wrong, I love the Z/28 and the ZL1. Given the deep discounts on the Z/28, it might be the best bang for the buck. But watch those curbs!

I think I would have to question your 500+ hp ... Without going internal you will be under 500hp.

How about a 2014 or 2015 1LE? Plenty of clean used ones out there, excellent handling for just slightly more than a standard SS. I've driven and owned many high performance cars, and love the feel of my 1LE.

My DD is a Tundra Truck. I'm looking to buy a 2nd vehicle/toy, if you will. I like to tinker and wax/zaino my vehicles. I don't mind a garage queen that I can drive at midnight-this is how I meditate or a quick trip to Publix. The ZL1 and SS offers that possible DD option if I want that-which is cool. But the Z/28 seems like the most powerful Camaro produced today. Just my thoughts ...

Welcome back!!
Personally I love the Z/28 because of the 7L. I adore my '14 SS and the cam really woke it up. Cam is a must if you stick with a 1/SS, 2/SS, or 1/LE. If you decide you want more, hands down ZL1. Intake, exhaust, pulley, tune, be the fastest thing out 75/80% of the time and it be effortless.
