I wonder if most of this has to do with that airbag recall? An airbag going off and throwing shrapnel into my face seems WAY more dangerous to me than bumping a key with your knee, yet I hardly hear anything about this.

I think that is just part of it. I think they are just telling us part of the story as what the problems were.

Any idea who owns Motor Trend?

I haven't respected Motor Trend since they named the Ford Thunderbird Car of the Year in 2003. I felt they had lost perspective back then, I don't see an improvement.

Also, there was a time that if you asked a rag journalist what was the "best" car, BMW M3 was an immediate response. Yet, Evo rag, in Europe where the M3 has "god" status, did a "test" a couple years ago of the cars the people that worked at the rag actually owned. Only one person actually owned an M3.

My point is, if I get to drive every car ever made, I would own what I feel is the best driving car, hence my choice of a ZL1.

GE doesn't own NBC anymore. Comcast bought GE's equity, though that should have never been allowed to happen.
