Hell yeah he does... Gotta earn them push the dirty dishes away and sit back while the noobs clean it up... Time is the only way to earn that priv...

Big Thanks to your brother for being there so people like me can go and enjoy my vacation time in Hawaii. I'm going back again in February. Also, to you and all those like you for doing what you do. Wow, that was a lot of do.

There's a ton of us that do what I do, and it's our pleasure to come to the aid of good people like yourself. I was born and raised in Hawaii and please do get over there and have fun doing Hawaii stuff. I'm just being a big brother bragging about his little brother doing the work. I'm going to show him this thread so he knows the camaro family got his back even though he was stood up at the prom.... Did I say that? Thanks for the posting and there's never enough "do's"

What the heck is a FF doing out in the ocean? That is odd. I thought the Coast Guard was for that stuff.
Are you paid Firefighters or volunteers?
I am a career(paid) firefighter in NJ, 8 years on. My brother and father were on the job.
Best job in the world!

God Bless and stay safe!

Lol, isn't volunteering an east coast thing?? Good bless them though, working out of the goodness of their hearts. As much as I love our job, I don't think I can do it for free, especially with the pay out here. Plus, we live in the 2 most expensive areas in the country. Your shit will turn white if you ever find out what my best friend makes as a LT in Northern California. I'm in LA. My brothers are ffs in Hawaii and other relatives are ffs and a retired Chief in Kauai.

I think the coast guard had their hands full with two hurricanes in a row and few tropical storms to boot. They we're stretched thin and if you ever been to Hawaii they do a lot of ocean rescues. There's a lot of water between the big island and Kauai to cover. I don't know the full details but I will update this thread on what the probie did. Take care of yourself brother and thanks for posting on this thread.

Ha. It is. 75% of my volunteer dept are career FF's though. And I know a lot of guys that are full time, part time and volunteer FF's like myself. Just can't get enough I guess.
