It was a popular "mod" back in the day. And I'm not sure, but I think one, maybe even two came from GM that way. I'm not sure as I was never a fan of the look.

Never really looked into it, but I've seen plenty of arguments on the issue.

Too bad you can't see the geocoding on the photo properties... Would be very interesting to see where these cars are.
