-Someone reran the fuel lines and they are causing a vapor lock

I had this happening in an old Chevy 3100 I did a Chevy 350 swap on. I ran the fuel line too close to the headers and it was causing the gas to turn to vapor in the line before it got to the carb. It would run horribly. Moved the line and wrapped it and it runs perfectly now.

My son had this same issue in an 1985 Nissan 300 zx he rebuilt. He ended up having a split vacuum line which was to provide vacuum when the engine got hot to lean the fuel mix down. The lack of vacuum caused the engine to run way to rich when hot and caused it to stall.
Your first line may be wrong. These models were not set up that way. Believe me, I wish they were. Not sure about the later models.
