Not soo much the red tape, it is that if they pull my credit again it will lower my score. I watch my credit very very closely and do not want it to change.

Get the Camaro. Vette will be a yawn for a while.

Or get a cheaper vette. You can some $$$ on one another year or 2 older.

two totally different cars to me. one you can drive in the winter if you had to. one you cannot.

Personally im not big on vettes. i like them. but muscle is my fav. I would say get a Shelby but thats just me.

Honestly.....if you can get a brand new SS for 2k more.......dude id be all over that.

If practicality isn't a concern, then get the Vette. The Camaro will almost be as common place as the Mustang in a few years.

You can't go wrong either way though...

that corvette sounds awesome, don't get me wrong, but if you can, wait 6 months to a year until these initial hiccups are worked out and get the camaro you want. you will have the LS3 and it will be a brand new car with two back seats and excellent styling. i don't think you have a lot to lose if you wait. good luck to you!

You can get a brand new 09 Vette right now for Camaro money. I paid 40K for a Vette with 52K and change MSRP. Sure Camaros are rare now and draw attention, but so did the SN197s when they came out. Now very common place.

My rational is why be upside down in the Camaro after a year when you can deal on a new Vette. When Camaros are everywhere in a year or two, You can always trade the Vette in and not be as burried.

Good luck which ever you decide,

Wait for the Camaro ~ They're bitchen!

Ordered: 2SS/RS||Silver Ice Metallic||Black Leather||Sunroof

I seem to be struck by you
I want to make you move
Because you’re standing still
If your body matches
What your eyes can do
You’ll probably move right through
Me on my way to you.....

Is it an auto loan or a home equity or similar type loan? If the latter, could you write yourself a check, deposit it in a bank, start making payments, and then draw on it when the camaro comes in? I'm not into financing so this may be a stupid question but maybe you can look into it.
