Killzone 2 is a great game....and i hope that you guys atleast rent it and play the multiplayer...the multiplayer is solid and is the best experience online imo. And the reason some people would dog on the graphics engine is the dark color palette. The graphics are amazing. The power of the engine has been recognized by Crytek, creators of Crysis.
ATLEAST RENT IT...youll buy it later...i know it

I love the franchise, but so far PS3 hasn't had anything else to make me want to actually buy one. I'm happy with my 360 |

on the plus side, the graphics are pretty (although graphics dont sell me on games, i still play mario and mega man). you can reload and run. its addicting, it held my interest to play it to the end, and im not a big fan of FPS's. |

Well i think that Guerrilla (devs) were trying to create a more movie-type game...like you could opt for no HUD or crosshairs. So thats why they kept things to a more "realistic" level...such as only being able to carry one weapon and your sidearm....or not being able to mow down a room full of baddies with one clip...instead they made you take each enemy on at one time...and if you tried to "Rambo" the level...you would quickly die and have to rethink your strategy.
The game was great and im glad i bought it...and i haven't put in COD4 or Resistance 2 since i bought it...in fact im thinkin of trading in cod4 for credit towards god of war 3. Yes i know the aiming is really frustrating at first...in fact when i first started playin...i would yell at the TV if i died. But you really get used to it. And it becomes really easy to pop and shoot. The cover wasn't revolutionary, but it was still awesome, it didn't try to set new standards but it got the job done. And the A.I. was awesome...i dont know what some of the users were talkin about...they use cover...try to flank you constantly...will always try to knife you or rifle butt you if you get close...they will jump over obstacles...nade your ass if you stay there to long...they will jump behind cover if they see a grenade...and they aren't all weak. They all have a very big chance of killing you. The graphics...have been acclaimed as the best by the best devs who made the graphic benchmark of crysis (crytek) The gameplay isn't anything that will change the way you think about how FPS is made or anything but it defintely isn't boring or feels to repetitive. The levels are diverse enough to keep you wanting to get to the next one The bosses might not seem like bosses but you have fight them differently. The online play will hang with the best of em KZ2...a great franchise now and hope sony keeps guerrilla makin games exclusively for the PS3 and future generations. And milk Dont you kinda get tired of RRoD...I've had the 360 for 3 years...and its died on me 3 times...and microsoft wont honor the warranty anymore. Great games...horrible customer service...and online is fee-based...never did like fee-based online Get the PS3...its going down another 100 dollars.

I've had my 360 RR on me 3 times. All three times I took it to Best buy and they simply gave me a brand new one. In and out of there in 10 minutes no hassel, no worries. Never had to deal with customer service. Keep in mind that the last time I got the RRoD was over a year ago. The RRoD problem is virtually gone from the new systems. I've played PS2 online and i gotta tell you Xbox live is worth the $45 a year. It's just the greatest gaming experience. And like I said, other than God of War 3, PS3 hasn't offered anything that I'm really interested in. |

Well...thats one thing i do recognize in the market between microsoft and sony...game variety.
M$ has a more attractive angle...for devs its cheaper and less time consuming for them to write games for the 360 architecture...and also there are more 360 owners than PS3 owners...but MS has reached the end of the 360 (technically)...atleast thats what multiple MS owned studios have stated...and also remember that the 360 was out for a year longer...while thats not much...you have to at it like this...PS3 out for only 2 years..while the xbox for 3...while thats not much time for either of them...MS has had 33% more time than the PS3 on the market...and also being the easier console to write for...its a given that its gonna have more games. BUT.. More devs are starting to come on board with the PS3, due to the now more familiar PS3 architecture. And sony has been trying to appeal to more gamers with 3rd party software and also in house franchises. Its gonna take awhile for sony to get up to 360 sales... And lets face it...Blu-Ray > HD-DVD due to capacity But then lets all just admit it...Nintendo will rule the world soon with thier stupid Wii... I hate the Wii...not because its not fun as hell...but it making video games more of a kids thing and its takin away from the big-budget high quality build games like gears or metal gear. SCREW YOU Satoru Iwata and your stupid Wii box...I use it for my PS3 and Xbox for a stand.

Socom Confrontation, the game is great. there is no story line. the sounds of the weapons are realistic and its a 32 person online game. it sucks when you are new because there isnt a training section so you get killed all the time while you are learning. But the game is seriously worth buying

Killzone2 was fun at first, but i think that now almost everyone has unlocked all of the classes the game has lost its appeal online. it seems to hectic and i liked the game better when everyone had either one of the rifles the smg or the shotgun. it seemed more organized then.
